We'll have the record for sale, as well as special signed copies of the album. We'll also have food and drink. Come hang out and listen to the soulful sounds of Sharon Jones!

M-Theory Events:

Wednesday, April 7: Exene Cervenka In Store Performance (6 p.m.)
Exene Cerveka of legendary punk band X will be here! Yeah, you heard right, and it's her only San Diego appearance. This is a very special treat, and I feel honored to be a part of this. Come grab a copy of her latest release, Somewhere Gone (Bloodshot). You know you don't want to miss this one!

As Exene, herself put it: "The reason I am touring independent record stores from San Diego to Seattle this April is that I want to play for free, to people of all ages, at a reasonable hour, in a place we love to be. I'm touring at my own expense, because I don't want the economy to stand between my music and people that might want to hear it. Yes, I hope I sell some aprons and a few CDs, but bring your X records, the kids, shop independent, and let's have a party!  XO, Exene"

Tuesday, April 13: M-Theory Pop Up Store at Bar Basic (8 p.m.)
Here's what the promoters have to say: "Anyone who has ever met Zack or I (Dave) knows that supporting local, independent businesses is at the root of our business philosophy. So when Ford Motor Company asked us to design a giant mural highlighting 10 local hot spots in San Diego, we jumped on the opportunity. It was tough narrowing it down to just 10 as there's a plethora of great people doing great things in San Diego. But here it is, our list of 10 hot spots that will be featured on our mural and topped off with a huge party to celebrate community. Stop by these locations, spend some money there, show 'em some love and tell 'em who sent ya!"
