Linkin Park and their A Thousand Suns World Tour will storm the Viejas Arena at SDSU on Feb. 20.
When my roommate first heard about the show, he excitedly cleared his calendar for the day and began playing the band’s most recent album, A Thousand Suns, on repeat.
Linkin Park released their breakthrough album, Hybrid Theory, in 2000. The album won a Grammy for Best Hard Rock Performance and was nominated for two other Grammy awards. Throughout the ensuing decade, the band has been extremely successful; selling more than 50 million albums worldwide. They were also named by MTV in 2003 as the sixth greatest band of the music-video era and the third best band of the new millennium by MTV.
