South Bay Catches Bieber Fever

A nearly sold-out concert at the Cricket Amphitheatre on Friday will feature Usher as the headliner, but Justin Bieber is the main attraction for many attending the Channel 933 Summer Kick Off concert.

Bieber, a pop teen sensation, has attracted thousands of screaming girls across the world, creating safety and crowd control issues wherever he goes. Bieber Fever has fans combing the Internet to find out everything about the 16-year-old star. Bieber recently talked with Parade Magazine about things he likes, saying, "I like spaghetti, the color purple, Beyonce, Tom Hanks, Will Ferrell movies, Paris and San Diego."  The Canadian is sure to perform his mega hit, "One Time," from his debut album, My World.

Usher is currently touring behind his new album, Raymon v. Raymond.  Fans can expect to hear the hit track "Papers," an emotional song about his failed marriage, as well as tracks from his Confessions album.

Ke$ha will bring her singing, rapping style to the stage, too likely trotting out her "Tik Tok" track.  Hip-hop, rock newbie B.o.B., will also be on hand, but without Bruno Mars if B.o.B. performs "Nothin' on You."

Akon, Iayz, Jason Derulu and J.L.S., round out the rest of the lineup. Check back Monday for a SoundDiego review and gallery of shots from the show.
