Singer/songwriter Jason Mraz owns an avocado farm in Oceanside.
The event on Saturday at Linksoul Lab kicks off at 6 p.m. and will benefit the Feeding the Soul Foundation and SuperFood Drive. North County was already buzzing about the event with the Makepeace Brothers, who performed earlier this month at Balboa Park for particpants in Finish Chelsea's Run. On Friday, however, anticipation of the show balloonedwhen organizers announced that Mr. A-Z would be on hand.
"I'll be there creating live visual art to be auctioned off at the end of the night. Things could get messy!" Mraz blogged this week.
The Makepeace Brothers and Mraz toured with another local star, Bushwalla, in 2009 on the Music, Magic and Make Peace Tour.
Tickets for Saturday's event, which are $30 (and include food and drink), are still available -- but hurry, maximum occupancy for Linksoul Lab is 150.
