Fiesta Del Sol Returns With National Headliners

Welcome spring with a free family-friendly music fest

Heads up, party people: Fiesta Del Sol is coming to Solana Beach on Saturday, May 20, and Sunday, May 21! This year’s headliners include Oingo Boingo tribute band Dead Man’s Party, English reggae star Pato Banton and zoney rockers Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers. Together, they’ll be bringing you a genre-bending two-day treat just in time for spring.

The Belly Up is partnering with the Solana Beach Chamber of Commerce to put on the free outdoor festival for the 38th year in a row, and it includes everything from arts and crafts, food, rides and a beer and wine garden. Yum. The neighborhood festival takes place adjacent to Fletcher Cove within the area bordered by South Sierra Avenue and Acacia Avenue, and yes, you can bring your kids!

All ages are welcome at Fiesta Del Sol, and, thanks to the Belly Up’s fine curation skills, it features over 20 bands -- and we’re not just talking national headliners. Locals and up-and-comers -- many of which will be announced in the weeks leading up to the festival -- are sure to make an appearance. But did we mention San Diego faves Betamaxx, Anuhea, the Pine Mountain Logs and Atomic Groove are already slated to play?

You still have a couple of months to look forward to the festivities, but for more info, and to keep up to date with the exciting lineup and fun offerings, head over to the Fiesta Del Sol website.
