I hope it isn't any secret at this point how much I love Everest. It's one thing when a band's music stands on its own (as Everest's does), but then on top of being so cool, they're just so cool. I mean, we've embraced these guys from the beginning, but more important, they embraced us in San Diego and at SoundDiego. Though they're from L.A., they have made San Diego a second home, and this show specifically should be noted, because they're going on massive tours in 2012, but their only show this winter is here, tonight, at the Casbah. Midnight Rivals will certainly add some heat to the night, and if you haven't seen the Whiskey Saints, you're certain to have your mind slightly blown.
