Pearl Jam, until 10/31: Eighteen years after the release of their breakthrough album Ten, Pearl Jam is on the road again promoting their latest LP, Backspacer. The new album has been acclaimed as their best since their debut, and Eddie's sure to provide the band's usual frenetic angst.

Yesss, Eddie Vedder brings his solo ukulele tour to Copley Symphony Hall, July 5th.

Tickets go on sale next Friday (April 1) at the Copley box office / Ticketmaster.

Eddie has obviously been spending a lot of time with his pal Jack Johnson, as he releases a solo record of covers and originals, performed on a ukelele. Ed’s “uke songs” album will be released May 31.

With family and friends in town, Ed is always sure to include San Diego on his tour schedule. Here's the full tour schedule:

June 15: Providence, RI -- Providence Performing Arts Center
June 16:  Boston -- Wang Theatre
June 18:  Hartford -- The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts
June 21:  New York -- Beacon Theatre
June 22:  New York -- Beacon Theatre
June 25:  Philadelphia -- Tower Theatre
June 26:  Detroit -- Fox Theatre
June 28:  Chicago -- Chicago Theatre
July 1:  St. Louis -- Fox Theatre
July 2:  Minneapolis -- Orpheum Theatre
July 5: San Diego -- Copley Symphony Hall
July 6: Long Beach -- Terrace Theater
July 8: Los Angeles -- The Wiltern
July 9: Santa Barbara -- Santa Barbara Bowl
July 11: Oakland -- Paramount Theatre
July 14: Portland -- Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall
July 15: Seattle -- Benaroya Hall

With a break before his San Diego date, it would lead one to believe that Vedder with be spending the 4th of July weekend in San Diego.

Hopefully, the surf will be up!
