Zoo Seven, aka Del Currie, hails from Northern Ireland, but has called San Diego home for many years. Currie, originally with band Fono, has toured with the Goo Goo Dolls, Third Eye Blind and recorded with Chris Sheldon of Foo Fighters/Radiohead production fame.
Lifesaver, the debut release from Zoo Seven, marks Del's first effort as a solo artist. SoundDiego contributor Rosey Bystrak of SDDialedIn.com had this to say about the record: "Lifesaver is full of soaring melodies and hooks that are memorable and make this collection of music a well-developed, comprehensive package."
For the recording, Currie recruited former Fono bandmate Andy Ridley for his amazing drum skills. These days, Ridley plays with Transfer and the Nervous Wreckords.
