Hip-hop mogul Calvin "Snoop Dogg" Broadus performs at Harrah's Rincon, joining Sammy Hagar, Heart and the Thunder From Down Under on the casino circuit?
Not exactly.
Snoop, spotted Wednesday in San Diego County, is prepping for a (rumored) Las Vegas residency a la Elton John, Beyonce and Celine. The limited-run tour, entitled Imagine That!, pairs The Doggfather up with stand-up comedian Michael Epps. Per Harrah's website: "This unique concert combines their stage shows with a story about two night-club performers who end up having to find a way to get out of prison."
Epps, best known as "the other Doug" in The Hangover and Day-Day in Next Friday, tells AllHipHop.com, “this is an incredible opportunity to combine our similar but different worlds of entertainment together onstage for the first time.”
Snoop followed with: “We’ve worked together in the past on some projects and knew that our audiences would love to see us bring hip-hop music and hip-hop comedy together onstage.”
