American emo band Dashboard Confessional are taking their 10-year anniversary tour to the House of Blues in San Diego on Saturday.
Led by singer Chris Carrabba, Dashboard Confessional were initially a solo side-project but eventually became a successful band of four talented musicians.
Dedicated fans have followed the band since Dashboard’s humble beginnings in 2000, but many, like me, have been tracking the group since hearing its 2004 hit “Vindicated,” which was featured in Spider-Man 2.
Dashboard Confessional have released six albums and have re-released The Swiss Romance as part of its 10-year anniversary tour. The band has been on tour since November, and will make a stop locally on Jan. 22 at the House of Blues. Also playing: Chris Conley of Saves the Day.
