91x presents '90s alt-rock icons Failure at House of Blues on Sunday

Between the full moon and Friday the 13th, things are gonna get weird this weekend. 

Friday, Pato Banton headlines at the Belly Up; Dead Feather Moon, Strange Vine and Chess Wars play at the Casbah; Lady Dottie & the Diamonds and Drop Dead Dames Burlesque take over the Hideout; the Paul Collins Beat, Javier Escovedo, Poontang Clam and My Revenge are at Til-Two; the Creepy Creeps hit Bar Pink; Chica Diabla, the Touchies, Revolut-Chix, Plane Without A Pilot, with DJs Diana Death and Nats are at the Tower Bar; and Flaggs hit the stage for the first time with their new lineup at the Whistle Stop. Get your dance on with MakJ at Bassmnt or Kastle and Vindata at Bang Bang.  
 
Plenty of ways to kick off your Saturday, including Oysterfest featuring Matt & Kim at Embarcadero Marina Park; Dive Day Club with LA Riots at Harrah’s; or you can head to the Palomar Hotel as Lovelife presents Flower to the People featuring Frank & Tony, Davi, Bell & Whistles and Evan Casey. Later that night, join me for Club Sabbat as we take over both rooms at Numb3rs. DJs Gypsy and Severin round out the lineup and you can get more info here. Get your dance on at Booty Bassment with DJs Dimitri and Rob at the Whistle Stop; and the Manufactured Superstars Magnetic EP Tour hits Bassmnt. Live music picks include the Midnight Pine CD Release Party at the Hideout; the Burning of Rome, the New Kinetics and the Nformals at the Che Café; Fu Manchu, American Sharks and It’s Casual at the Casbah; and Guided By Voices with Bobby Bare Jr. at the Belly Up.
 
Sunday, get your Intervention on at the Hard Rock Hotel with Markus Schulz. Later that night, 91x presents Failure at House of Blues; at the Belly Up, check out the Both (Aimee Mann and Ted Leo) with Nick Diamonds of Islands; Electric Six, Yip Deceiver and Badabing take over the Casbah; Afroman hits Porter’s Pub; and the New Order Tribute Band, Temptation, will be playing at the Hideout.
