Steve Jobs: George Clooney or Noah Wyle

George Clooney or Noah Wyle as Steve Jobs? Reports say that both are being considered to play the tech innovator in Sony's biopic based on Walter Isaacson's Steve Jobs biography.

George Clooney, 50, seems a bit of a stretch -- the only thing he seems to have in common with Jobs is age. However, 40-year-old Noah Wyle has already portrayed a young Steve Jobs in TNT's "Pirates of Silicon Valley," made in 1999. Wyle also joined Jobs on stage at MacWorld in 1999 (see video below.)

The report comes from a British celebrity gossip site, which should be viewed with the utmost skepticism, but it's still interesting to see what some people view as good casting choices.

Noah Wyle should be on any short list, because he not only physically resembles Jobs, but has already portrayed him. We can think of a few others: Paul Bettany, Ralph Fiennes or Jack Coleman of "Heroes." But now's the time to voice whom you think would be the best Steve Jobs.
