Web browser company, Mozilla, heading to San Francisco.
Apple is not the only one who thinks Twitter is cool.
Mozilla is following the Cupertino-based company's lead and building in a Twitter search option into the release of its latest browser, Firefox 8.
Apple embedded Twitter as a feature on its latest iOS 5 release for its mobile platforms.
Now Firefox users can search hashtags, keywords and names on Twitter directly from their browser without ever having to navigate to Twitter's site. And that's just fine with Twitter.
The San Francisco-based startups co-founder, Jack Dorsey, spoke with All Things D recently and he said Twitter has no problem with users developing third party tools to digest tweets as they see fit.
Firefox already has several built-in search options into its browser. Twitter joins Google, Yahoo, eBay, Amazon and Bing as some of the options available for a direct search in the browser.
