Competition from Google, Motorola, RIM and others for the hearts and minds of would-be tablet owners will continue to heat up in 2011 -- but the advantage will remain with Apple, according to Business Insider.
The differentiating factor is Apple's mass of retail outlets that sell, of course, only Apple products. There are 320 stores in 11 countries as of this post.
Replies to BI's poll showed that a comfortable plurality would hike to their fave brick-and-mortar Apple store, with 17% more using apple.com. That latter number is tied with amazon.com.
The Android-based tablets may suffer from lack of exposure and presence on the shelves.
