Google Earth Gets Better Looking

A prettier planet and new ways to share it.

Scoping out the neighborhood where a future first date is set? Google released a newer, prettier version of Google Earth Thursday that should make the anticipation that much more enjoyable.

With Google Earth 6.2, Google has improved the way that images, which are a combination of both satellite and aerial photographs, are rendered, which makes for a more seamless, attractive experience.

What were once patchy, rugged looks at terrain now more accurately represent the areas users are exploring.

Additionally, Google is allowing Google Earth users to create screenshots of old haunts or upcoming vacation spots that they can quickly share on Google's social network, G+.

Smoother, sleeker, better looking--Google welcomes you to a lovelier Earth.
