Apple's Stock Closes at All-Time High

Thursday's stock hullabaloo was all about Facebook and how it closed at its lowest point yet. The bigger hullabaloo is that Apple closed at an all-time high of $636.34 per share.

Apple increased it's market cap and increased its lead in the "most valuable company on the planet" race, with the company now valued at $596,511,500.

The share price saw a $5.51 increase (up 0.87 percent). The highest Apple has ever traded at is an intraday spike of $644 on April 10, 2012.

What's more is Apple's been tearing it up since its (ahem) disappointing earnings report. You know, the one where Wall Street didn't like the amount of iPhone units that went unsold.
