Apple Watch to Head into Production Next Month

Apple's supply chain has apparently been working overtime or increasing productivity and will now be be in full production of the new Apple Watch by next month, according to reports.

However, the updated iPhone 6s model isn't likely to be put into full production until spring, BGR reported. Previously it was reported that the watch was dealing with production delays mainly because of parts, but apparently that has been solved.

Supplier Quanta is going to start production in January and hired 10,000 new employees for the device. It may also be hiring more to create Apple's order of 24 million.

Perhaps the watch is being pushed ahead at the expense of the iPhone 6s, which is missing key components for production. Instead, industry experts say that suppliers won't start production until at least March or later. It makes sense that Apple would push ahead with its Apple Watch instead of the iPhone 6s which will not have the same kind of impact on consumers.
