“Take This Waltz” Trailer Infused With “Idiotic, Marvelous, Ridiculous Longing”

Sarah Polley's transition from actress to writer-director began rather auspiciously with "Away from Her," starring Julie Christie as an Alzheimer's patient who moves into a home, whereupon she quickly forgets her husband and falls for another man.

Now Polley's back, with another look at infidelity. "Take This Waltz," starring Michelle Williams and Seth Rogen as a young couple whose relationship is threatened by a hunky new neighbor, has been generating huge buzz since its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. The film this past weeks finally delivered a trailer:

This one looks like it's gonna be tough to watch, and frankly we don't like our boy Seth's chances of coming out on top in this one. Rounding out the cast are Luke Kirby (Lindsay Lohan's love interest in "Labor Pains") as the interloper, and Sarah Silverman as Rogen's recovering alcoholic sister.

You can see more clips from "Take This waltz" at the film's website, but be warned, there's some grown-up language.

"Take This Waltz," opens June 29.
