Sam Rockwell plays Bronco, the mechanical buck-riding hero in a kid's fantasy sci-fi novel in Gentlemen Broncos.
Fresh off his turn as Justin Hammer in "Iron Man 2," Sam Rockwell will again play the heavy, this time giving chase to Jonah Hill.
Rockwell will play a drug dealer in "The Sitter," which is being directed by David Gordon Green and has been described as a gender flip on "Adventures in Babysitting."
In "The Sitter" Hill plays a college dropout who agrees to watch three kids for a night. But moron that he is, he brings the tots along to when he goes to buy drugs--for a girl, of course. When the deal goes pear-shaped, Rockwell and his business partner, played by JB Smoove of "Curb Your Enthusiasm," hightail across New York City in pursuit of Hill and his charges.
Rockwell can next be seen Oct. 15 opposite Hilary Swank in "Conviction," based on the real-life story of Betty Ann Walters, who put herself through law school to get her brother's murder conviction overturned. Rockwell recently finished shooting "Cowboy & Aliens" with his "IR2" director Jon Favreau, which is due out July 29, just two weeks after "The Sitter."
