There's still one day of competition left, but things are not looking good.

The highly-anticipated three-day showdown between human "Jeopardy" champions Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter and IBM super computer "Watson" is almost over, and last night the machine took a big leap forward.

After being tied with Rutter after Game 1, Watson hit both Daily Doubles last night and finished with $35,734. Rutter came in a distant second with $10,400 while Jennings pretty much had his lunch eaten by both to the tune of $4,800.

However, Watson did not get the Final Jeopardy question even though both Jennings and Rutter did. But it turned out to be cold comfort.

Tonight is the third and final game, giving Jennings and Rutter one last shot at the title. But let's not go planning a Victory of Humanity parade just yet.
