The son of Robert F. Kennedy has been charged with harassment and endangering the welfare of a child for allegedly clashing with two nurses who tried to stop him from taking his 2-day-old baby boy from a Westchester maternity unit. Douglas Kennedy and his wife called the charges "absurd" and said the nurses were in the wrong. Jonathan Dienst reports. "Up," was not only named best animated feature of the year, it inspired the best line of the night, from presenter Paul McCartney.

"Animation is not just for kids, but adults who use drugs," quipped the ex-Beatle. He also noted that he is now known as "that guy from Rock Band."

If you haven't seen "Up," do so, it's gorgeous. Though we're not sure we'd sit down and watch it with the kids, it's terribly sad in some parts and a wee scary in others.

Just before the announcement of "Up," John Lithgow won Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy for "Dexter." He previously had won for "Third Rock From the Sun" some 300 years ago.
