Ellen and Portia Buy in Beverly Hills

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi had certainly grown accustomed to living lavishly in their compound that features four structures (totaling 15,000 square feet of interior living space), a hidden underground fitness center and a swimming pool. But, after news broke yesterday that "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest scooped up the A-list couple's luxe estate, the next question on everyone's minds was: where would Ellen and Portia live?

According to the Los Angeles Times, Ellen and Portia anticipated in April that their compound would sell and decided to scoop up a Hal Levitt-designed midcentury mansion to satisfy all of their luxury needs. Their new Beverly Hills crib measures 8,500 square feet and boasts a black-and-stainless-steel kitchen, walls of glass, a swimming pool, multiple fireplace, four bedrooms and six baths. While no home is as large and in charge as Ellen and Portia's (now Ryan Seacrest-owned) compound, this Hal Levitt-designed pad certainly isn't too shabby.

And, with so much buying, selling, and flipping, don't forget that Ryan Seacrest's Hollywood home is still on the market for $11.985 million.
