Shoppers at Fashion Valley Mall may be in for a pleasant surprise Saturday Oct. 25. Celebrity stylist and TV personality Robert Verdi will be roaming the mall from 12:30 -1:30 p.m. to peek at shoppers’ finds. The catch: if Verdi likes what he sees, he’ll pick up the tab!

Verdi will be on the lookout for shoppers with the most stylish picks until heading over to the mall’s River Plaza to host a 2 p.m. runway show for the “Simon Fashion Now” event. The stylist will then stick around after his hosting duties are over to meet fans and sign autographs.

Verdi’s shopper surprise is just one part of the weekend fashion extravaganza being held at Fashion Valley Oct. 24-26. The three-day event will feature runway shows, top designer clothing, and hair and makeup demonstrations. Robert Verdi will host part of the event, along with the sassy, fan-favorite Project Runway winner, Christian Siriano.

The fashion fun will kick off at 7 p.m. Friday, with Verdi hosting the first runway fashion show of the weekend. The event will continue on Saturday with Verdi’s shopper surprise and the 2 p.m. runway show. At 4 p.m., designer Christian Siriano will take stage to host the next runway show. Siriano will also be available after the show to meet fans and sign autographs. A Macy’s runway show will serve as the final show of the night, beginning at 6 p.m.

Admission to the runway shows is free, but seating is limited and will be handled on a first come-first serve basis.

The event will end Sunday with various interactive beauty stations scattered throughout the mall. The booths will feature cosmetic, skincare, and product demonstrations for the public.

Just some of the notable name brands that will be featured on the runways are: Betsy Johnson, Just Cavalli, Jimmy Choo, Guess, Banana Republic, Max Studio, M Missoni, and Macy’s. The Susan G. Komen Foundation, Sephora, and Ivy Hotel are a few of the event’s partners.

Check out simon.com for the full weekend schedule, along with a complete list of the designers, partners, and sponsors involved in the event.
