Hundreds of San Diegans will get together Saturday to support an important cause -- pediatric cancer research.

The 4th Annual San Diego Alex’s Lemonade Stand event will be held in the North Park area and is open to the public.

Local radio station FM 94.9 will sponsor the event and will broadcast live from the lemonade stand. There will be performances by some local bands as well as a silent auction and some free giveaways and of course there will be all the lemonade you can drink.

The Miller family, who hosts the event, said “Each year our stand has grown, and we plan to continue raising funds and awareness of the deadly disease for years to come.”
