Bikini Worshippers Flock Downtown
The crowds were out Saturday for, you guessed it, Bikini Week!

Bikinis and fireworks -- not a combo you'd likely think of, but there were plenty of both this weekend as party-goers said "Happy Birthday" to America, and men everywhere were saying "Thank You!" to the inventor of the bikini. Our friends at DiscoverSD.com were there to soak up the sun and capture all the action.
Bikini Week 2009 celebrated the Fourth of July in style at the Hard Rock's rooftop lounge, Float. From noon till dusk, bikinis were everywhere as designers showcased their new summer fashions on the poolside runways.
The Hollywood Tan's Miss All American Bikini Girl winner was also announced. It's safe to say that San Diego's first ever Bikini Week was a hit and we can't wait for next year!
