- Solomohn Taking an offense to Blacks being associated with chickens is as ridiculous as the acceptance of the word ni**er in the Black community. You mean to tell me the words dog and b**ch can become terms of endearment, yet we draw the line at Obama Fried Chicken? This double-minded, cheek by jowl nonsense is a waste of time. I mean c’mon, seriously, what have chickens ever done but sustain us nutritionally, provide jobs, and feed the masses? For the love of heaven!—chickens are feathered deities. I would say that Obama should be honored. Someone needs to approach this with reason and logic, look at the numbers, check the data—for ages and all eras chicken has been and still is the food, hope, and opportunity of the world. Obama would be lucky if his presidency makes even 1/44 of such an insurmountable contribution. - Real Black Man I thought my wifes comments or should I say question was offensive to The First Lady. When President Obama was elected, my wife was in the office on the phone with the White Hous Personnel trying to get Monica Lewinski's old job. No but seriously, I understand the marketing of this and rightfully so. Black folks in Harlem are dissapearing. Therefore, eateries such as Silvia's, Lennox Grill are okay but the ones that are not famous are dying fast. It probably is Korean or a first generation immigrant who honestly don't know any better. What trouble me more than this is the reaction by my black folks. This is not the first incident like this with the same reaction. Here's my advice, as a race lets demostrate how we want to be treated by other by groups by acting like we have some sense.
