Commuters headed north on Interstate 5 were stuck in traffic during Tuesday morning's rush hour after a big rig jackknifed.

At one point, at least three -- and possibly all -- lanes on Interstate 5 north just south of the Coronado Bridge were closed, and traffic quickly backed up for miles.

The truck jackknifed at about 7:09 a.m., and it was more than an hour before most of the lanes reopened. At least three other vehicles appeared to be involved in the wreck, and at least one person was hurt. It's not known how seriously injured the victim was.
