THERE’S BEER ON THIS BEACH: The W Hotel has sand and opens at noon Saturday for those who love to dig their toes in the sand while cracking open a cold one.
PARROTHEADS UNITE: After a day of sun, sand and suds what’s better than a little Buffet? Gary Seiler and The Buffed Out Band Anthology, 7:30 p.m.
SUNDAZE: If you’re still feeling up to it, on Sunday the Wave House continues its IndepenDance Weekend extravaganza. 2 pm.
FASHIONABLY EARLY: The early bird gets the worm Sunday through Friday at the Ivy Hotel's Quarter Kitchen. They are offering a three course dinner for $30 from 6-7 p.m.
UFC MODEL SEARCH: Maxim is holding a casting call for "San Diego's finest ladies" at the Ivy Hotel. Compete for your chance to travel to Vegas with Maxim and participate in a live model search competition.
