Throughout his career, Avedon has been known for his significant unique style of picture-taking with a broad range of disciplines. For over six decades, he has arguably been one of the most important fashion photographers in America. Best known for the groundbreaking series, The Family, published in the Rolling Stone magazine in 1976, portrays photos of elected officials, military, corporate elite, and all members of the American political uniquely posing in representation of their own personalities.

Along with The Family, displayed in his exhibition are pictures seen in previous well-known magazines he shot for, including the Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Look.
